Fred S. Shapiro, who is the President and 100% owner of Fred S. Shapiro & Associates, Inc., obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Towson University. Before founding FSA, Inc. Fred spent thirteen years marketing, designing and administering qualified retirement plans. He has conducted accredited seminars for the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, The Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants, and in addition, Life Underwriting Associations including Baltimore, Suburban Maryland, Northern Virginia and The District of Columbia on Qualified Retirement Plans. Fred is married and has 2 children. He currently resides in Pikesville, Maryland.
Jeannie began working for Fred Shapiro & Associates in 2017. Before joining FSA, she worked in Retirement and Human Resources for MetLife, gaining 4 years of experience in these fields. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in 2010 from Liberty University. She is involved in ministry and has spent time on the mission field in various U.S. cities as well as abroad in Jamaica as well as the Bahamas and plans on serving in Peru in the future.
BK has worked for Fred S. Shapiro & Associates, Inc. for 20 years. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Virginia Tech in Agriculture with a minor is Business Administration. Her primary responsibility at FSA is plan compliance. She works to maintain over 450 qualified plans by keeping them up-to-date with constantly changing laws enacted by Congress, the IRS, the Department of the Treasury and the DOL. She lives on a small farm in northern Baltimore county Maryland where she loves to work in her garden and tend to her small flock of chickens and goats. Much to the dismay of her coworkers, she is a devout NASCAR fan.
Eva has been working at Fred S. Shapiro & Associates for 2 years. She was born and raised in a small town in the Midwest. She has a degree from Iowa State University. She has over 18 years of business experience both in worldwide operations and the ‘store next door’ environment. Eva is the proud parent of 2 children. She loves food, photography, antiquing, turning something old into something new with a little paint and family.
